PerformanceLabsUK Ltd supplies research reference materials to institutional buyers in the United Kingdom, at quantities and on terms that do not fit the standard online catalogue. If you are ordering for a department, a funded project or a commercial laboratory, this is the route.

We accept institutional purchase orders and quote against your PO reference.

Bank transfer and invoicing

Payment by BACS against invoice. We do not process card payments.

A named contact

Institutional orders are handled by the same person from enquiry to dispatch. You will not be routed through a support queue.

UK dispatch

Orders are dispatched from within the United Kingdom to UK delivery addresses.

Terms for institutional buyers

Institutional purchases are business-to-business sales, and the consumer regime does not apply to them.

No statutory cancellation right

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to contracts between a trader and a consumer, and define a consumer as an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A university, company, partnership or other organisation is not a consumer for these purposes. There is no statutory 14 day cancellation right on an institutional order.

Our own returns position for institutional orders is set out in the quotation and in our Terms & Conditions. Statutory rights that do apply to business purchasers, including the implied terms as to satisfactory quality and description under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, are unaffected.

VAT

PerformanceLabsUK Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is chargeable on our supplies and we cannot issue a VAT invoice. Our quoted price is the price you pay. If your purchasing system requires a VAT registration number from suppliers, tell us at enquiry stage so we can flag it before you raise a PO.

Governing law

PerformanceLabsUK Ltd is registered in Scotland, company number SC883220. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.

That framing does not change for institutional buyers. It is the basis on which everything in the catalogue is supplied.
